The City of Basehor is sponsoring a petition to lower the speed limit on US-24/US-40 Highway (State Avenue) to 50 mph from 142nd St. to 171st St. This roadway is managed by the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT), and the City is respectfully requesting KDOT’s consideration of this request.
We encourage all community members to review and sign this petition, as well as share the petition with family members and friends.
