Building for a Growing Community

In 1997, some of the Basehor Pride organization members got involved with the Historical Society and have been instrumental in the development of plans for a new building. Wes Neu, Jeral Cooper, and Becky Doyal formulated and promoted the idea for a large facility to house both the Basehor Museum and a Regional Conference Center. Late in 1998, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Breuer, long-time Basehor residents, donated ten acres of land to the Society for the building site.
