General Information
Basehor is a progressive community with the advantage of being a small community close to a large metropolitan area. Basehor is located in southern Leavenworth county, west of Kansas City with easy access to the metropolitan area via I-70 and I-435.
The city of Basehor has a growing population of 4,230 (2008) with a large surrounding rural population which contributes to the success of our community.
Basehor continues to grow in all directions including new subdivisions as well as business growth.
